In November, 16 of our Dussmann Security agents working at hospital sites took a training module to learn the safety rules for operating a heliport.

During the 4-hour session dispensed by the non-profit Luxembourg Air Rescue (LAR), the trainees discovered, among other things: the different types of heliport, their design, the safety rules relating to the platform, and the types of helicopter. The LAR teams also explained the effects of wind and turbulence on helicopter performance, as well as the safety inspection rules (maintenance, snow removal, surface conditions).
